The Civil War in Arkansas 34th Regiment Arkansas Infantry
HISTORICAL NOTES:
The Arkansas 34th Infantry Regiment [also called 2nd Regiment] was formed in the summer of 1862. The regiment participated in the conflicts at Helena and Jenkins' Ferry. It continued the fight in some minor actions in Arkansas and Louisiana, then disbanded.
