	HISTORICAL NOTES: This regiment was formed by the consolidation of the Arkansas 11th Infantry Regiment and Rector's 17th Infantry Regiment. It skirmished in Louisiana, fought in several small engagements in Mississippi, and was included in the surrender on May 4, 1865.
