Currently one volume is available. This book provides family sketches and genealogical information on the first families to settle in Coweta County, GA. The earliest settlers date back to the early 1800s.
By the time of the 1830 census, Coweta county had 632 families. Prior to 1825 Coweta County was a part of the Coweta Indian lands. The first recorded white settlers date to 1826. The First Families Project - Coweta County, GA CD-ROM has surname folders on these families with notes we have gathered in our research over the years. This volume focuses on the families which were apparently in the area as early as 1830.
