30th Regiment, Kentucky Infantry



 


HISTORICAL NOTES:

    The Kentucky 30th Infantry Regiment was organized at Somerset and Frankfort, Ky. Companies "A," "B," "E" and "F" mustered in at Frankfort February 19, 1864; Company "G" March 29, 1864, and Companies "C," "D," "H," "I" and "K" at Camp Burnside, Ky., April 5, 1864. Regiment lost during service 2 Officers and 21 Enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and 71 Enlisted men by disease. Total 94.
