Louisiana Donaldsonville Artillery

HISTORICAL NOTES:

Organized and mustered in Confederate service in August 1861. It was armed with two 10-lb Parrotts, one 3" rifle, and three 6-lb Smoothbores in August and September 1862. It was armed with one 10-lb. Parrott and two 3" Rifles on July 1-3, 1863. It was armed with two 12-lb. Napoleans and two 10-lb. Parrotts on December 28, 1864. Surrendered at Appomattox Court House, Virginia on April 9, 1865.
