Misssissippi 1st Cavalry Battalion State Troops

  • HISTORICAL NOTES:

Little is known of this unit. The roster contains the names of 644 men. It appears from Rietti's diary that most of the units transferred to Confederate States Service. The roster probably consists of men who first served within the state and may contain some names not found in other units.
