Aggregate present, 38, with troops at Baton Rouge, August, 1862, listed then as partisan rangers, in October as infantry. In April 1863, on provost duty, Lieut. C.L. Barrot commanding. Served in the Port Hudson lines during the siege of May 25-July 8, 1863, and, after the surrender, were paroled.
Howell notes that this company was later mounted. No further mention of the company in Rowland. The Official Records only mention the company’s service at Port Hudson.
