7th Regiment, North Carolina Cavalry

Historical Notes:
The 7th Regiment, North Carolina Cavalry was organized in January, 1865, when three independent companies were attached to the 14th battalion, North Carolina Cavalry to bring that unit up to regimental size. The regiment fought at Salisbury on April 12 and disbanded near Morgantown on April 17. Officers:
Lieutenant Colonel James L. Henry and Major Charles M. Roberts. Assignments:
