Capt. Beauregard's Co. Light Artillery

HISTORICAL SKETCH:

This unit was also known as Ferguson's Artillery Battery. It was formed in April of 1862. On March 29, 1864, it was armed with two 6-lb. Smoothbores and two 12-lb. Napoleons. The unit was captured by the 119th Illinois Infantry Regiment at Nashville, Tennessee on December 16, 1864.
