4th Battalion, Ohio Infantry


HISTORICAL NOTES: The 4th Battalion, Ohio Infantry, was formed in June 1864 by consolidating veterans and recruits from the 4th and 8th Ohio Infantry Regiments during the Civil War. It primarily served in the Army of the Potomac, participating in campaigns and battles like Deep Bottom and Reams' Station in Virginia.
